Oh, Google. We love you for so many reasons. You help us learn, find things and make sense of the world.
The other thing you do is make us terrified to even step out of our houses for fear you are watching our every single move (which, we’re pretty sure you are).
Here are seven times Google captured photos of life that will make you either cringe, laugh or cry (and maybe all three at the same time).
When you’re driving down the street, the last thing you expect to see is a full on shooting. Unfortunately, Google is going to be Google. They just patrol the streets like some weird cyborg with a camera, unemotionally capturing everything happening. Just like when their little weird camera lens caught a shooting happening – in broad daylight. So if you weren’t terrified enough to leave your house, don’t forget – not only is Google watching… BUT PEOPLE HAVE GUNS.
2) Reckless Driving
Sometimes you get drunk and then drive (apparently). Now we can’t say this driver was definitely drunk, but let’s be honest: who is driving down the road, hits a tree and then abandons the car when their sober? Not us… we’d probably just fall asleep behind the wheel if we were that ripped.
3) Apparent Kidnapping
Just another beautiful day. Oh, and there’s a nude guy trying to escape a trunk. Imagine seeing something like this in your neighborhood? Now imagine that scene is broadcast around the world for all to see. Smile, you’re on Google! Now get the hell away from where you are and put some pants on!
Life is a lot like a tailgate party. There’s fun, drinks and sometimes nudity. The bonus of Google is they don’t care what you’re doing – they’ll film it, boobs and all.
5) Public Urination
Let’s be honest: there isn’t always a bathroom around when you need it. Thankfully, when you’re a complete degenerate, the world can be your bathroom stall!
6) Drug Deal In Action
“You got the stuff man? OK no funny business. Now hand me the goods.” We can only assume this is pretty much what was being said in the photo of a man clearly involved in some non-legal activity on a side street. God bless America.
7) Quicky Hand Job
The great part about hand jobs is apparently they can take place anywhere. Imagine feeling free enough to drop your pants and get the ol’ rub and tug right out in public. It’s both admirable and horrifying at the same time.
What is Google Street View?
Street View, by Google Maps, is a virtual representation of our surroundings on Google Maps, consisting of millions of panoramic images. Street View’s content comes from two sources – Google and contributors. Through Google’s collective efforts, they enable people everywhere to virtually explore the world.
Google Street View was launched in 2007 in several cities in the United States, and has since expanded to include cities and rural areas worldwide.
