Thieves in Texas had the idea to steal a baby shark from the San Antonio Aquarium – and they actually did it.
Three crooks made their way to an open air tank, wrapped the baby shark in a towel, put it in a stroller and proceeded to simply leave the premises without being noticed.
We have to imagine they weren’t smart enough to fill a baby bottle with chum for the poor little guy.
Aquarium staff didn’t notice the shark was missing until nearly an hour later.
Police were called, probably laughed for a few minutes, then went on a manhunt… err, shark hunt.
The vehicle used in the heist was located and finally, the shark was recovered (thankfully in good health).
No word yet on if the thieves had diapers large enough for the little guy.
A word to the wise: if you’re going to steal a shark, maybe instead of a stroller, have a rolling fish tank.
