The former frontman for Phish, Ernest “Trey” Anastasio was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of medications not prescribed in his name. In December 2006, Whitehall, New York, authorities found Xanax, Percocet, and Hydrocodone in Anastasio’s possession during a traffic stop a few miles from the Vermont border. In addition to the criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated (drugs) charges, Anastasio was cited for driving without a license.
