Royal Oak, Michigan, police arrested NHL superstar Sergei Fedorov for driving while impaired in September 2001. After the 31-year-old Detroit Red Wing ran a red light, police asked him to take a Breathalyzer test. The hockey star registered a .09 blood alcohol content–barely missing the .10 drunken driving level. Fedorov pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor impaired driving charge in January 2002 and was sentenced to 1 year probation. He was also ordered to perform 100 hours of community service as well as pay fines and court costs.
