Actor Anthony Anderson, along with co-star Wayne Witherspoon, was arrested in Tennessee in July 2004 on charges that he assaulted a woman, a movie extra, after luring her into their production trailer on the set of Hustle and Flow. The charges were dismissed by a judge three months later after hearing testimony from the defendant's ex-boyfriend who said she was trying to extort money from them. Thirty-six-year-old Anderson is still under suit for another unrelated incident involving the sexual assault of a woman on the set of his TV show All About the Andersons.
